ADA Compliant Accommodations at The Priory Hotel
At The Priory Hotel, we are committed to providing a welcoming and comfortable experience for all guests. We are proud to offer ADA Compliant accommodations, along with accessible routes to the hotel’s primary public spaces and amenities, so guests can enjoy the character, service, and hospitality that define the Priory experience.
The Priory Hotel offers two (2) ADA Compliant guest rooms. Both are Deluxe King rooms located in the hotel’s new wing, with one room on the first floor and one on the second floor. Each room includes one (1) king bed and is designed to accommodate wheelchair access, with door widths greater than 32 inches, maneuvering space for a wheelchair, and lower closet heights for easier access.
The bathrooms in our ADA Compliant rooms include standard tubs and showers equipped with grab bars. While The Priory Hotel does not offer roll-in showers, portable shower seats are provided in these accessible rooms and may be placed in the shower for guest use.
Beyond the guest rooms themselves, accessible routes are available from parking to the hotel entrance and throughout the property. The front desk, Monks’ Bar, fitness center, business center, vending machines, and meeting and event spaces are all accessible by elevator and/or ramp.
Our self-parking area is accessible, including access for vans, and the route from parking to the hotel entrance is fully accessible. At this time, however, we do not currently have handicap-designated parking spaces. For guests traveling with mobility equipment, our hotel shuttle is able to stow a wheelchair, though it is not wheelchair-accessible for boarding.
Televisions throughout the hotel provide closed captioning for hearing impaired guests.
